Inversion

This type of symmetry is a combination of a rotation, then an inversion of 180 degrees.

A crystal is said to have a center of symmetry if an imaginary line can be passed from any point on its surface through its center and a similar point if found on the line at an equal distance beyond the center. This operation is known as inversion.
